This park system consists of: Nathaniel Cole (317 acres) on County Route 63 in the Town of Colesville; Dorchester (1142 acres) in the Town of Triangle; Finch Hollow in the Town of Maine (12 acres); Greenwood (415 acres) on County Route 320 in the Town of Nanticoke; Grippen and Roundtop (46 acres) in the Village of Endicott; Hawkins Pond (307 acres) in the Town of Windsor; and Otsiningo (150 acres) in the Town of Dickinson. This system includes an eighteen hole golf course, three beaches, a campground, a performing arts theater, a 7200-seat arena, cross-country skiing, swimming, two ice rinks, boating, professional hockey, and many other leisure activities. Annually, two million people use this system.

The department is also responsible for Aqua-Terra (466 undeveloped acres) in the Town of Binghamton and in the Town of Dickinson both the BAGSAI Complex (softball fields) and the Community Garden Plots. Parks and Recreation also operates and maintains watersheds including: Brandywine Creek; Brixius Creek; Deposit Watersheds (3); Finch Hollow Creek (2); Little Choconut Creek (6); Nanticoke Creek (9 sites); and Patterson Creek.
