The Broome County Strategic Plan for Sustainable Development ("the BCPlan")
Broome County initiated its first county-wide sustainable economic development planning effort in late 2001. The BCPlan was prepared by AngelouEcononomics, a technology-driven economic development consulting firm, in partnership with the New York based Allee King Rosen and Fleming. Funding for the plan was provided in large part through a grant from the New York State Quality Communities Demonstration Program, with additional funds provided by local project partners.
